His professional singing career began in his late teens while working with the Boston based r&b vocal trio "Something To Consider". The group worked together for many years before disbanding. The split didn't stop CMacJ from continuing his artistic pursuits. He has since worked with many bands and musicians in the New England area, including Amage, Soul City, The Sharp Cats, Brian Walkley's Flipside and The Allnighters, percussionist David "Pookie" Cole; keyboardist David "Davy" Nathan; the incomparable singer Jill Zadeh and; bassist Lenny Stalworth, to name a few. As a native of Cambridge, he's also had the opportunity to work with the beautiful and talented Phaedra Butler, from their shared alma mater of Cambridge Rindge and Latin.
As a percussionist, CMacJ has had the pleasure of peforming with Orange Then Blue, Stan Getz, Teri Lynn Carrington and, internationally, the David Azarian Trio. He has truly worked with some of the greatest singers and musicians on two continents. CMacJ is working to finish his first cd (several years in the making) titled "I Remember When...". He is anxious to get to work on his next albums, "Innerpeace" and "New Beginnings", both to be collaborated on and produced with Les Goodwine and LFP Music Productions
